UExcel is a Credit-by-Examination program created by two global leaders in distance learning and education, Excelsior College and Pearson.
UExcel exams offer a rigorous, supported way to let motivated students demonstrate their competency in popular introductory courses—so you can grant them the credit they deserve.
Administration and Faculty
Your acceptance of UExcel credit makes your institution more attractive to the students –often at the top of their class – who take and pass the rigorous exams created by a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
Advisors
By passing UExcel exams, students earn college credit on an official transcript from Excelsior College, a regionally accredited institution. They then transfer credits to the institution of their choosing.
